Terms and Conditions

  1. Booking & Payment
  • A booking is confirmed upon written agreement and acknowledgement of these Terms and Conditions by the client.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total agreed package price is due one (1) week prior to the wedding date.
  • The remaining 50% must be paid prior to the delivery of the final video. Delivery is typically within 4–8 weeks after the wedding, depending on the chosen package.
  1. Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellation is free of charge up to 3 months before the wedding date.
  • Cancellation between 3 and 2 months prior to the wedding date will incur a cancellation fee of 40% of the total agreed price.
  • Cancellation within 1 month of the wedding date will incur an 80% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations due to special circumstances (e.g. serious illness, natural disasters) may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the videographer.
  • Breakups or change of mind are not considered special circumstances.
  1. Services Provided
  • The videographer agrees to provide wedding videography services according to the selected package and any agreed-upon add-ons.
  • Delivery of the final product will be made digitally, within the timeframe agreed upon based on the selected package (typically 4–8 weeks).
  • No backup videographer is currently offered. In the unlikely event the videographer cannot attend due to force majeure, see Section 7.
  1. Copyright & Usage Rights
  • Clients receive full personal usage rights to view, download, and post their wedding videos.
  • Clients may not sell, license, or alter the footage in any way (e.g. apply filters or make edits).
  • The videographer retains copyright to all materials and reserves the right to use footage for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and YouTube.
  1. Privacy, Data Protection & GDPR
  • By default, footage from the wedding may be used for promotional purposes and will not be stored or treated under GDPR-level protection.
  • It is the responsibility of the wedding couple to inform all guests of this arrangement in compliance with European data protection laws.
  • A Privacy & Data Protection Package is available for an additional fee. If selected, the videographer will not use or distribute the footage for any public or promotional use and will store and handle data in compliance with GDPR.
  • Clients may obtain exclusive ownership and full rights to the footage by purchasing them for an additional fee of €250 per minute of edited footage.
  1. Client Responsibility
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring that all necessary permissions are obtained for filming at venues and that guests are informed of videography.
  • The videographer is not liable for restricted filming imposed by the venue, guests, or officiants.
  1. Force Majeure
  • The videographer is not liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control including, but not limited to, illness, accident, natural disasters, extreme weather, or government restrictions.
  • In the event of force majeure, every effort will be made to reschedule or arrange alternate delivery. Refunds may be considered at the videographer’s discretion.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • The videographer’s liability is limited to the total amount paid under this agreement.
  • The videographer is not responsible for moments missed due to unforeseen circumstances, guest interference, or venue restrictions.
  1. Dispute Resolution
  • In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek resolution through mediation before pursuing legal action.
  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Jurisdiction lies in the courts of Hessen.
